As set out in my article of 4 July, the Pride Parade and Pride Village will take place on Saturday 29 July. Details are as follows:
Pride Parade
As advised the trade unions will be walking together. The union bloc will gather behind an INTO float with their own banners and flags.
We will be forming up at Donegal Quay (not McHugh’s Bar) in the GREEN zone. Please note in order to gain entry to the parade members will be required to have a green wristband. In order to obtain your wristband please visit the NIPSA stand in ‘The Pride Village’. Wristbands will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Once you receive your wristband please make your way to Donegal Quay facing the Obel Tower where you should look for the NIPSA delegation; any of the parade organisers should be on hand to assist you. You must be there no later than 12.00 noon.

Pride Village
NIPSA will have a stall at ‘The Pride Village’ which will be held in Donegall Quay, Belfast (beside the Big Fish) and will be open from 12.00 until 4.00pm.
On behalf of the General Council we wish to encourage members to take part in the Pride Parade and visit ‘The Pride Village’ and NIPSA’s stall.
