As we approach May Day, a day of great significance for workers and trade unions worldwide, we are reminded of the power and unity that our collective efforts bring.
Over the past number of years, NIPSA members through their action, have a lot to celebrate, including successful negotiations for better wages, improved safety standards, and enhanced worker benefits. Despite this progress there is more to do, and this rally is an opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate these victories and prepare for future battles. In particular, we acknowledge the current struggle that many of our members face as a result of rising costs. NIPSA is actively challenging our Assembly politicians to respond to the issue.
We need the support of all members in the fight and May Day is a symbol of unity and strength among workers. By attending the rally, we demonstrate our solidarity and commitment to the ongoing struggle for workers' rights. Our presence at the rally will help raise awareness about the importance of trade unions and the critical role they play in advocating for workers' interests.
