NIPSA staff and representatives strive to ensure that all NIPSA members receive a high level of support, service and respect.
Unfortunately, it has now become necessary to remind members that we also have the right to be treated with that same respect and be allowed to carry out our work without violence, abuse or harassment. Any verbal or physical behaviour, which causes our employees to feel uncomfortable, embarrassed or threatened, is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.
Please click here to view the NIPSA Call Handling Policy – Zero-Tolerance of Abusive Calls. This should be circulated immediately to all members to ensure they are aware of how NIPSA will deal with abusive calls or communications.
The safety and security of our staff and representatives is of the utmost importance, any reports of abuse will be taken very seriously and dealt with accordingly.
