You will by now have seen the communication from the Head of the Civil Service indicating that the NICS Board has agreed to run three separate internal competitions, at Grade 5, Grade 7 and EO2 level.
NIPSA very much welcomes this decision which we have been seeking for some time.
In relation to the EO2 competition there are a number of individuals still on the 2005 list and NIPSA has been assured that they will be offered posts, in line with the current civil service arrangements. However while this is welcome this does not guarantee for those individuals that the posts will be available at the locations which suit the needs of the individuals.
