I know you will share with me the extreme disappointment felt in response to the Finance Minister’s statement this morning. More than 12 weeks after your 2022 pay award was due we are no closer to a pay offer.
The statement from the Minister sets out what he would have recommended if there was an Executive in place. This does not come close to meeting the aspirations of our members.
The current political situation here and the direction of travel of the current Tory Government are a very worrying combination for all public sector workers but I can assure you that NIPSA is determined to get the best deal we can for all our members.
The Civil Service Executive Committee will meet on Monday to discuss the situation and further bulletins will be issued.
