The election for the next NIPSA General Secretary will be held between 4 June 2021 and 25 June 2021. Individual ballot papers will be issued directly to all members by the Independent Scrutineer who is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the election.

Branches should strongly encourage every member to exercise their vote in this important election. I attach an electronic poster which I would ask you to ensure it is distributed as widely as possible and, where possible, have prominently displayed within your Branch. This poster is available at the bottom of this page and will also be circulated on NIPSA’s Facebook and Twitter accounts.

Every member is entitled to vote on an individual basis as they see fit without interference or constraint.

If any member does not receive a voting paper by 10 June 2021 (or if they are working from home and they normally have their ballot paper delivered to their office address) they should contact NIPSA Membership between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm by email (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) or on the following numbers:

Wendy McCallum 07970372811
Debra Whitford 07970372807
Adrienne Wright 07866001154

For any other queries on the election members should be advised to contact the Independent Scrutineer directly at:-

Civica Election Services
33 Clarendon Road
LONDON
N8 0NW                  Telephone: 020 83658909.

It should also be noted that the only official documents being issued by NIPSA for this election will be the ballot paper with the related instructions plus a publication containing a copy of the election address submitted by each candidate.

Completed ballot papers should be returned in the pre-paid reply envelope provided. The pre-paid reply envelope has a different postcode to the address above to take account of Civica Election Services’ arrangements with Royal Mail for mail receipts. However, if any member loses the pre-paid envelope, the ballot paper can be posted directly to the address given.

Alison Millar
General Secretary
