I am writing to advise branches of revised arrangements for the opening of the switchboard at
NIPSA Headquarters to assist members and representatives in accessing urgent and vital
information. In the first instance I want to thank branches for the support and understanding they
have afforded Headquarters staff under these unprecedented times. The vast majority of
officials and staff are working remotely and services continue to be delivered.
As part of a review of the ongoing arrangements the switchboard will open as follows:
Wednesday 16 & Thursday 17 September - Switchboard will be open from 10am to 2pm
Monday, Wednesday and Friday’s thereafter - Switchboard will be open from 10am to 4pm
This arrangement will hopefully provide an additional contact point for representatives and
members. You should be aware that NIPSA staff continue to work remotely and officials can be
contacted directly on their mobile phone. Mobile phone numbers are available on the NIPSA
None of the NIPSA buildings are open for members or representatives to access currently. This
will be kept under review in light of Public Health Advice.
