A leaflet has been produced in furtherance of the aims of Resolution No 75, which was adopted at the 2019 NIPSA Annual Delegate Conference. The leaflet can be downloaded from the link below. The leaflet is aimed at Branch Reps, giving advice and support on how to look after your mental health.
In your role as Branch Reps we are aware you are dealing with very challenging and complex cases on a daily basis and the current coronavirus pandemic has created new unprecedented challenges for all of you. It is therefore important, in these circumstances, that you look after your own mental health.
We had planned to launch this leaflet at a Mental Health and Suicide Prevention training event for Branch Reps on 20 May 2020 to coincide with Mental Health Awareness Week (18-24 May 2020) but unfortunately we had to postpone it due to the coronavirus pandemic. We hope to be able to reschedule it later this year.
