Report on a Centre for Global Education Programme in the Gaza Strip 2019 This a report on year two (of a three-year) development education project in the Gaza Strip, Palestine, jointly managed by the Centre for Global Education (CGE) and the Canaan Institute for New Pedagogy, a Palestinian NGO based in Gaza.  The project provides education and psychosocial support services to 400 children, aged 7-12, suffering from severe mental health problems caused by extreme poverty and constant exposure to conflict. Using therapeutic and participative active learning activities, the project enhances the education of young people who only have access to school for half a day.  The programme is funded by NIPSA’s Global Solidarity and Developing World Fund.  Click on the link below to download a copy of the 2019 report.
