Alison Millar is NIPSA’s General Secretary and is charged with supervising the general work of the union as well as overall responsibility for the management of all the staff and finances. She is NIPSA’s main representative on many of the civil and public service negotiating bodies and is active at various levels within the Irish Congress of Trade Unions

Kieran Bannon, has strategic and management responsibility for the Public Officers’ Group including Health, Housing, Libraries NI, Local Government and Education. Given the significant issues in the Education Authority, Kieran has day to day responsibility for the Education Authority and the Further Education Sector. He has overall responsibility for the NIPSA Regional Office in Derry
John McVey, Policy and Research Officer, has responsibility for the development of research based policies and positions on all matters of political and public discussion impacting upon the public sector.
