The message from the HOCS is welcomed by NIPSA as it clearly reinforces the point that those who can work from home should continue to do so. The message also refers to the ongoing consultation with Trade Union Side in relation to Future Ways of Working.

We are currently in the process of consultation on the latest draft of the Home-working Policy, and all the issues affected by it, as well as considering other flexible and remote working arrangements such as the Connect2 Hubs.

The engagement with NICS Management is centred around ensuring that workplaces remain safe for those who cannot work from home. We intend to ensure that workplaces will be safe in the future for those who wish to return to the workplace when it is possible to do so.

NIPSA will continue to make the health and well-being of staff the paramount concern when departments consider their business needs in each area. Departmental Trade Union Sides will be consulted on any departmental initiatives or pilots.

If you have any issues of concern in relation to your individual circumstances, please contact your Branch Secretary.
