The Civil Service Executive Committee met yesterday, 5 December, to consider the budget set by the Secretary of State. It is clear that the Westminster Government’s position is to continue its attack on workers. It is our expectation that we will have a very difficult pay round this year and anticipate a pay offer in the coming weeks.
On that basis, I want to let you know that Executive Committee members will be getting in touch with Branches over the next short while to discuss and plan next steps.
