NIPSA, alongside other Agenda for Change (AFC) trade unions, met on the 10 December 2024 with the Minister of Health to discuss the pay award for 2024/25. While these talks were positive and constructive, it is important to highlight that no firm or written offer was made during or following this meeting.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining pay parity with other regions. Encouragingly, we left this meeting with a greater sense of optimism compared to previous encounters. However, it is essential to stress that there remains significant work to be done.
NIPSA is resolute in our efforts to secure the pay award that the Pay Review Body has determined our members deserve. We remain prepared to take all necessary steps to achieve this outcome.
