Please find from the links below two letters relating to the 2023 NJC Pay round for your information. You will see that a central focus of the NJC Employers’ Side is its struggle to keep up with the rising National Living Wage, which underlines the fact that our members who work for the NJC family of Employers remain amongst the lowest paid public servants in NI. It is also clear from the correspondence that the offer being made for 2023 falls well short of the demands contained within the NJC JTUS Pay Claim lodged in late January and that many of the unions’ demands have, once again, been rejected out rightly.
This offer fails to provide our members with an above inflation pay rise from April 2023. It is with this in mind that we remain resolute in fighting for fair pay both now and into the future.
