Fairtrade Fortnight 2026 takes place from Monday 21 September to Sunday 4 October. This year's theme is "Do It Fair – for People, for Planet and for Fair Pay", highlighting the importance of fair pay and decent working conditions for farmers and workers across the world.
Fairtrade Fortnight is an opportunity for individuals, workplaces, trade unions, communities and organisations to come together to support ethical trade and raise awareness of the challenges faced by producers in global supply chains.
Why Fairtrade Matters
Fairtrade promotes a fairer deal for farmers and workers by helping to ensure:
- Fair pay and better working conditions.
- Protection of workers' rights.
- Sustainable farming practices.
- Greater resilience against climate change and economic uncertainty.
The campaign reminds us that everyone deserves the opportunity to earn a decent living and support themselves, their families and their communities.
How You Can Get Involved
Whether in your workplace or local community, there are many ways to support Fairtrade Fortnight.

Why not organise a:
- Fairtrade coffee morning
- "Brew It Fair" tea party
- Bake-off
- Fairtrade food tasting session
Choose Fairtrade-certified products and encourage colleagues, friends and family to learn more about the impact their purchasing choices can have.
Tell others why Fairtrade matters to you and highlight your commitment to fair pay and ethical trade.
Use the hashtags:
#FairtradeFortnight #DoItFair #FairPay #ForPeopleForPlanet
Take Part in a Fairtrade Office Hunt
Look around your workplace for products carrying the FAIRTRADE Mark and encourage colleagues to do the same. It's a fun way to raise awareness of Fairtrade products that many people already use every day.
Spot the Fairtrade Mark
The FAIRTRADE Mark is one of the world's most recognised ethical labels. When you buy products displaying the mark, you are helping to support farmers and workers as they improve their livelihoods and strengthen their communities.
Raise Awareness
Fairtrade Fortnight is also an opportunity to highlight how climate change, rising costs and global challenges affect smallholder farmers in countries such as Kenya, Ethiopia and Honduras.

You can make a difference by:
