Members in the NICS will receive payments backdated to April 2020 in their December Pay arising from the implementation of the Holiday Pay Temporary Arrangement Policy.
In practice this means that Holiday Pay entitlements will now be paid to staff who are entitled to payments going forward. It does not include the main retrospective payment (see below).
Management Side have produced a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQS) Document which explains among other issues how holiday pay will be calculated and how this is recorded on staff payslips.

NICS Holiday Pay Retrospective Payments: NIPSA along with the other Trade Unions continues to engage in discussions with management in relation to retrospective payments to members. Negotiations are to continue in the New Year.
Agency Workers: NIPSA has raised the issue of retrospective payments for Agency Workers and await a management response. On receipt of response a further update will be issued.
