Colleagues, this is a very difficult and worrying time for all of us. NIPSA is working hard on your behalf to deal with all the issues you have been raising with us over the last few weeks. Even if we haven’t been able to answer your specific question individually, we have been raising your issues with the employers and have managed to secure many protections for all our members, including agency workers.
NIPSA has members across all areas of the civil and public services and the advice that we can provide is not necessarily the same for every member. It is for that reason that every member should firstly seek advice from their line manager. Your employer should be providing you with the most up to date information. If you are not in the workplace at the moment, please check your employer’s website. NIPSA will endeavour to post on its website a range of information from different employers but please note that information is quickly out of date as things are changing on a daily basis.
If you do need to come to NIPSA with a specific question that you cannot get an answer to then please provide us with all the details, including where you work, what your job is and what the issue is and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
