Conference Delegates

A light lunch will be provided for all delegates.

Trainee Delegate

Branches are encouraged to consider submitting trainee delegates to attend Conference. Branches who have fulfilled their full delegation are encouraged to submit trainee delegates. Trainee delegates fulfil a vital role at Conference including assisting with elections, tellers and door duty. This is a learning opportunity for representatives who have not previously attended Conference and who are unable to attend Conference as a delegate because the Branch delegation is already taken up.

Special Leave

Special leave with pay for attendance at Conference is available for most members and special leave application forms can be made available where required to members attending Conference. Where special leave with pay is not available, NIPSA will compensate delegates for loss of pay.

If attendance at Conference is not satisfactory, payment of expenses for travelling may be withheld or reclaimed in whole or in part.

If you are in any doubt about the rules relating to Conference or the pre-Conference programme please consult the NIPSA Rule Book.
