Developing World Fund Donation

This New Year is a time to embrace the gift of life, to look forward to a new year of new hopes, new dreams, new opportunities.  However for the profoundly poor people in our world their hope this New Year is to just survive another day and dream to have access to safe clean water, food, shelter, education and healthcare – the basic necessities of life.

Everyone deserves the chance to dream, to achieve incredible things and to look forward to a life without fear or poverty.

This year we are asking you to become a donor and help people around the world break the cycle of poverty. And with 100% of your money going directly to self-help projects you can be sure your money is going to help make a real difference to the lives of profoundly poor people around the world.

The NIPSA Global Solidarity and Developing World Fund is your charity. Established in 1993 as a result of motions passed at the 1990 Annual Delegate Conference. The motions called on NIPSA to examine ways whereby members might become more aware of the problems of the developing world and of the inter-related issues of poverty and social justice throughout the world.

Since the Charity was established it has donated over £650,000 to projects. Click here to see a map of some of the many projects NIPSA members have supported.
